Petra Sjouwerman, Dutch freelance journalist in Denmark

Has been based in Denmark since 2000 and working as the Scandinavian correspondent for leading Dutch magazines and the wellknown Dutch daily newspaper TROUW.
Subjects range from serious news and political topics to features on innovations and human interest stories – all with that uniquely interesting Scandinavian twist.

In addition to wellknown Dutch magazines like OPZIJ and trade journals like FORUM and INTERMEDIAIR, work has included numerous Dutch radio and television broadcasts, also Danish and English media.

Large professional network established across Scandinavia. Cooperation with freelance network both in Scandinavia and in the Netherlands.

Office located in PERISKOP, in the centre of Århus, Denmarks second largest city (pop. 300.000). Intensely creative communal office, home to leading journalists, a photographer and a grafic designer.
